Bottle (purchased at the brewery): Golden, hazy, cliumps of yeast visible, mid-sized fluffy white head, quickly diminishing, a fresh mix of fruit (1. lemons 2. cloves 3. bananas) in the nose with traces of wheat and yeast; sweetish-sourish, slightly bitter flavour, fizzy MF, light bodied; sweet-wheaty finish with a little tartness and real traces of hops in the aftertaste. Pleasant, "hoppy" Weizen............

(bottle) Slightly hazy, pale golden colour with cloudy shades and a medium-sized foamy white head. Sweet grainy, cereal-like aroma with a delicate herbal hoppy touch. Bitter flavour, light bodied with a well-matured, crispy mouthfeel. Moderately chalky, grainy and herbal hoppy taste with notes of citrus; dry and quite bitter finish with herbal, but not too aromatic hops. Anyway a pleasant brew with rural character.

Bottle: Rural, grainy nose with a distinctive bitterness; pale golden, a bit unclear with a persistent lacing white head; relatively dry and bitter (chalky) flavour; soft MF, low carbonation; grainy bitter finish with a rural touch and a citrousy aftertaste. A good, basic franconian brew.............

My personal description said nothing about bitter weisse. Only the quite typical hefeweizen descriptions are put to paper, like spicy and banana. Bit watery and yeasty taste. Same palate. Nothing special.
