On tap at the source. Hazy dark yellow in color with a thin off white head. Made with honey and oats, and I find neither in this beer. Thin astringent with some clove phenols, possible infection.

Sample at the source. Lightly hazy deep gold in color with a thin off white head. Blond ale with some s'mores flavors layered on top. Pretty well made concoction.

12oz pour at the source. Solid dark brown with a thin tan head that was just about gone when it got to the table. Rich caramel and coffee atop some earthy roastiness. Well made coffee stout.

Taster pour on tap at NH Brewers Festival. Appearance is hazy, bright, highlighter yellow with trace sparkle, thin ring of off-white head. Aroma is really nice and strong fruit--like fruit salad--identifiable peach, yogurt, watermelon, really nice. Taste has only a mild version of the fruit from the aroma with a strong, harsher grapefruit contribution both in flavor and bitterness. It doesn't seem to belong with the other flavors. It's like someone went to a potluck and took a tasty fruit salad and sabotaged it with grapefruit. Bitterness at back of mouth and tongue. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft-to-average carbonation with a lively kick at the end. Finishes with a lingering, slightly harsh bitterness at the back of the mouth and tongue. Overall, appearance is good and aroma is amazing and this would be fantastic if it tasted like it smelled but the grapefruit drags down both flavor and mouthfeel.

Pint at the source. Slightly hazy deep straw with a hint of blush and no head. Seems like a common problem here, headless beers that is. Big raspberry aroma and flavor kind of blots out any other aroma and flavor from coming through. Faint bready spicy wheat maybe if I squint and a touch of astringency in the finish. Nothing earth shattering here, but it certainty isn’t hard to drink if you don’t mind a bit of fruitiness.

On tap at the source. Hazy deep yellow color with a thin head that didn’t make it to my bar stool. Rich citrus and light fruity hops on the nose and in the flavor with a faint sweet bready maltiness to counter. Pretty tasty IPA.
