Deep copper. Sweet candied malts, citrus hop notes. Not much going on here, really. It’s an ultra sweet double IPA. It’s a dime a dozen.

Hazy, orangey. The aroma is rather autolyzed...getting that burnt plastic stuff, though with some sweet orange character. On the palate, orangey, touch of brett, with a light pale malt character. Not that bad, actually, despite the aroma. Nothing too complex, not besting the competition or anything. Dry, hoppy, bitter finish.

22 oz. bottle, pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out grainy earthy notes, and a touch of funk. Flavour is along the same lines, with earthy notes and toasted grains. Not really much funk or tartness on the palate. Ordinary stuff. Meh.

Tasting at Matt’s
Black color with brown head. Some mild sourness doesn’t play well in an Imperial Stout, that is also quite weak, and a bit stale.
Nothing special here.

22 oz. bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out a good mix of cinnamon, chilis, cocoa and light coffee. Flavour is along the same lines, with cinnamon and chilis upfront, followed by a touch of coffee and even lighter dry cocoa. Light and thin body, without much complexity. Pleasant but lacking depth. Okay.

Dark brown. This has a fair bit of chocolatey, coffeeish aromas. On the palate, I like the coffee character, don’t catch the other ingredients, but the issue for me is the base beer. I feel the base is thin, and doesn’t support that coffee with enough sugars.

22 oz bottle poured. Hazy, lemonade yellow pour with a quick fading head. Aroma is a tart lime with an obvious salt. Flavor is a juicy lime constant, with a slight salt that makes you want to drink this whole thing down quick. Luckily it’s very easy and pleasant to drink. Smooth and flavorful. Juicy. Light and refreshing. Gotta find some Mexican food to pair this with. Seems like it would be the perfect fire extinguisher to some fire salsa. Tasty gose here.

Draft 10 oz pour at Hop and Hound, Bothell. Pours black, with a tan cream foam head. Well, they sure didn’t miss in the peanut butter here. A ton of milk chocolate throughout, with a toasted element to it. Toasty, bold, sweet, bitter, cocoa, peanut butter. Just like a candy bar, but dipped in peanut butter for additional peanut butterness. All the times I meant to type bitterness in a rating. Maybe hundreds of times. Finally, I actually meant to write butterness. This is a great day for beer.

Bomber. Thick black pour with a tall head. Full, creamy smooth body. Sweet peanut butter from start to finish. Chocolate, light roasted notes, sugary notes, and a bit of caramel. A very delightful peanut butter beer. Sweet, yes, but quite nice.

Bottle - Light funk and herbal. Cloudy gold with a small white head. Touch of citrus, pith and some herbal notes. Pithy, funky and perfumy.
