22 oz bottle at Eugene’s farewell tasting. Cloudy golden orange with a thin film head. Wild aroma with lemon citrus. Flavor is cool, and refreshing, with gentle hops and a modest brett. Pineapple hints. Not quite fresh, but held up very well. Good stuff.

Bottle at Monger. Pours a reddish hue with a medium white head. A big fruity cherry nose and some oak. Mostly sweet cherries, some funky notes, tart red wine. Very smooth and drinkable. Nice.

Draught at Brouwer’s Café, Seattle
Cloudy blond color, compact head. Nice aroma, delicate, with bready notes. Nice malt flavor, sweet but also a bit bready and crackery, lean body, nice fruity hopping, a bit herbaceous. Very good.

Very cloudy pale color. Very soda beer. No salt, no coriander, strong carbonation and lime zing. A little drying. Very citric acidity. Not sure why is a gose as opposed to just a lime beer.

Bomber. Pours a clear yellow copper color with a medium white head. A sort of funky grainy citrus nose. A smooth citrus bite, a bit of overly sweet butterscotch notes here, not really clear what is causing that round sweet flavor. Tropical notes, mango, sweet ripe oranges. Decent brew. Very easy to drink a lot of!

Draft at Beer Junction. I saw this on the tap list and read it too quickly thinking it was a Belgian Quad. Unfortunately, its a stupid hoppy beer. And by unfortunately, I mean its not my bag of tricks. Its very malty, the hops are stale and unoriginal. Lots of tea malts and sweet caramel malts. Just not for me.

Bomber poured into mini goblet glass from LA Trappe. Sounds like a great idea, a cucumber beer with brett. Sort of my wet dream. But something is totally amiss with this beer. Smells like cucumber ice cream, weird dairy character. Also, no brett to speak of. If they called this cucumber beer ice cream and never mentioned brett then it would be on the money. Note this seems like something is awry.

22 oz. bottle, pours a hazy bronze with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out earthy notes, spicy rye, and cereal notes. Flavour is fruity, earthy and spicy, with bready malt, rye, and a touch of tropical fruitiness. Medium complexity, with a fruity, spicy, earthy finish. Not exactly my thing - seems a bit off, but nonetheless decent.

Bottle - Sweet, tart malts with a slight cherry note. Cloudy copper with a decent white. Very nice, touch of apple, touch of cherry and nice tartness. Very well done and sessionable. Balance is superb.
