22 oz. bottle, pours a hazy amber orange with a small white head. Aroma is quite woody and funky, with red berries, red wine barrels, and wild yeast. Flavour follows accordingly, with an excellent wild yeast character, red wine barrels, and a somewhat sweet red berry quality. Everything is blended really well -- excellent red wine barrel quality and a lovely wild yeast quality. Really digging this.

Bomber from Total Wine in Lynnwood, WA. Pours very hazy orange/Amber with a creamy near-white head. Aroma is sourish red berry with some light wood notes. Med body or better. Flavor is sourish moderate red berry. I think it’s not as robust as the better Flanders reds, but it is certainly on style, and it drinks nicely. Considering that on the US west coast the style is not readily available (IMHO). Good effort here. To iterate: it drinks nicely.

I think this came out in early November and I purchased in late February. Ordinarily, I wouldn’t buy a hoppy beer that is over 3 months old, especially from a brewer like Wingman. However, this was sitting in the fridge in a Total Wine and reduced to just $1.99, so I figured "what the heck," Before popping open the beer, as it warmed, I decided to take a look at the brewery. I started realizing that the brewery was making a lot of brett, buggy, and even sour beers recently. For a brewery that size I started to think that, for a brewery this size, how well were they going to keep their beers from getting infected. Anywho, I pop the beer, pour it, big head, very cloudy golden-orange color. First sniff did not bring out any old hops or fading hopiness but a strong/sharp aroma. So, my first thought is this hasn’t gotten too old. A few more sips and a few more sniffs and... wait.. is it... is this... can it be... yes! Brett!!!! its s Brett beer now. Nothing to tell me from the label or the internet this was meant to be but it is. Moderately herbal brett, low oiliness. Flavor is a sharper character, actually has some hoppiness - fruity. Low bitterness, thank goodness. Hops and tartness linger on in the aftertaste. Not as funky and the Brett isn’t full enough in the flavor. But a really fun beer, especially for the price. I’ll need to run to Total Wine and buy the rest of these at such a low cost.

Draught at the brewery. Cloudy, dark amber, tart, with a mellow fruity character, nice raisins.

Reddish-brown, cloudy. Has a mild tartness, and a bit of generic malt sweetness. Balanced. Simple but refreshing, like old school for the style.

Bottle share clear dark brown no head or lacing Great peanut utter cup aroma. Thin dry chemically flavors though . It’s just to hard to nail this flavor combo

22oz bottle thanks to Jake. Pours out dark brown almost black topped with a small tan head. nose is lots of sweet notes peanut butter chocolate and some roast. Taste is more of the heavy sweetness vanilla peanut butter chocolate and a bit of bitterness.

Bottle. Dark brown color, thin beige head. Immediately noticeable aroma of peanut butter.. Chocolate. It screams Reese’s. Chocolate, a little flat. Roast and more peanut butter. Smells amazing, tastes OK.

On tap at Brouwer's Cafe, pours an opaque cloudy golden with a huge white head. Aroma brings out bitter orange rinds, citrus and resinous hops. Flavour brings out shitloads of bitter orange rinds, citrus hops and an astringent bitterness on the finish. Despite the astringency, this works very well. Well-constructed and drinkable for the style. Great stuff.
