Bottle from Hopfen & Malz. Deep brown with a tan head. Aroma of dry chocolate malts. Flavour is smoked chocolate, fruity malt, dry ash licorice finish.

Tap at the Szimpla Kávézó, Budapest. Poured a clear dark brown with a frothy long lasting off white head. The aroma is a little bretty, roasty malt, some fruit and chocolate. The flavour is moderate liquorice bitter with a big smooth, slightly oily, liquorice, roast, hop bitter palate. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation. Priobably slightly infected. No trace of any maple syrup.
