10/5/2023. Bottle found at Hotel Royal Chihpen. Surprising find at a hotel away from any big cities. Pours clear dark orange gold with a small bubbly white head. A proper curiosity of a beer with its scallion (aka spring onion) seeds and coconut milk aroma and flavour. Slightly soapy and wheaty notes, with a little rice water. Light creamy mouthfeel and average to soft carbonation. Was actually rather enjoyable.

10/52023. Bottle bought at Hotel Royal Chihpen. Surprising find here. Pours hazy dark golden orange with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is husky, hoppy, citrus, orange, straw. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Medium body, average carbonation. Perhaps a little unrefined but better than many of the beers I’ve tried so far on this trip.

Bottle. Smells of olives. Taste is alright, sweet, tripel like, sweets, quite strange, orange, but it's alright. Some olive in the taste too. Bit fizzy.

Keg at the Star Hostel, Taipei. it's not terrible it just doesn't feel clean. messy flavours. Orange mixing with strong Belgian wheat flavour and some rice.

Tap at Star Hostel, Taipei. Not sure why this has been labelled as a cream ale....but hey it was a decent craft ale.
