Vielen Dank an McTapps für dieses Bier. Ins Glas ergießt sich ein klares goldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig, leicht würzig, leicht fruchtig. Geschmack malzig würzig, leicht herb, fruchtig, leichte Citrusaromen.

(swing top bottle, 33cl) Clear, pale golden colour with a short foamy white head. Slightly grainy and delicately draffy malty aroma with grassy and slightly herbal spicy hops. Mildly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Delicately grainy malty taste with a mild but balanced hops profile; bitter-sweet finish with slightly hoppy spots. (bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond mid-sized foamy head. Slightly draffy and strawy (cara-)malty aroma with hints of herbal hops. Sweet-bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a soft carbonation. Delicately biscuity malt character with a whiff of caramel and herbal hoppy spots; sweet and mildly bitter hoppy finish with herbal accents and a touch of caramel in the aftertaste. Decent. 15.I.14

(bottle, Pilsner, 4.7% abv) Clear, greenish golden colour with a mid-sized frothy white head. Grainy malty and slightly dusty aroma with a tinge of herbal hops. Moderately bitter and delicately sweet flavour, light bodied with a crisp carbonation. Slightly grainy pale malty taste with moderately present herbal hops; dry and mildly bitter hoppy finish with herbal accents in the aftertaste. Likeable but also average. 29.I.14

Mild-weicher Antrunk. Vollmundig-weiches Bier. Keine Höhen und Tiefen erkennbar. Der Nachgeschmack ist leicht süßlich, weich, süffig. Leider aber auch keine wirkliche kristallweizen-typische Aromatik.
--> Süffig, weich, nicht wässrig. Aber auch kein Nachgeschmack vorhanden - einfach weg! --> 7/12/6/7

Danke an McTapps für diese Flasche. Klare goldgelbe Farbe mit wenig Schaum. Geruch würzig malzig. Geschmack malzig, leicht würzig, zum Abgang hin wird es leicht säuerlich.

Bottle (Vielen Dank, Sabine!):Clear,golden to deep golden, bigger loose white head, visible carbonation, moderate strawy-hoppy nose, sweet bisquity malt in the background; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, quite full bodied for a beer of 5.5%; slightly lingering spicy, strawy and fruity finish with an increasing bitterness in the aftertaste. Really good…

33cl, 7,3% in my bottle. Vintage with BBE 03.2012. schön malzig-süßlicher Geruch. Antrunk malzig-süßlich. Blockmalz. Der Hauptteil ist toll malzig-süßlich. Nicht pappig, aber auch nicht aufdringlich. Im Nachgeschmack wird das Bier ein Bisschen flach - wärmender Alkohol, kaum Hopfenaromatik, Aromen recht schnell verflogen. --> Ordentlich und lecker! 12/12/11/11

Trocken getreidiger Beginn. Leider legt das Bier nicht zu sondern bleibt auf entäuschendem Niveau mit geringer, eher muffiger Malzigkeit. Wässrig. 8/6/6/5/7/6
