Sampled @ Finest Spirits and Beer Convention Bochum 2014: Dunkel goldgelbes Bier mit wenig weißem Schaum. Geruch hopfig, sehr malzig. Geschmack getreidig, hopfig, fruchtig, ok!

Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet grainy, caramel malts, hay, nuts, cereal, paper, grass. Taste is slightly dry, hay, light malts, weeds, paper, hints of nuts and caramel. Medium bitterness, slightly mineraly and grainy mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Classical northern Germany-style Pilsener (German bitterhops are used); clean maltiness, crisp, honest and pure barley taste, delicate and robust, thirst-quenching hop bitterness in the finish. One of my favorite Pilseners, tasted from bottle and from tap and the latter was even better.

Clear golden colour, tall dense head. Nice lacing. Aroma of grain, hay, grass. Medium body. Thin to oily texture. Bittersweet taste with medium bitterness dominating. Plenty of German hops in ending. Nicely balanced. A classic Pilsner of high quality.

On tap at pub in Berlin. Pours a clear straw colour with a medium, whipped eggwhite-like head. The aroma is filled with pale malt, hay and some sweet corn. The flavour is similar but light with additional tones of hops and some metal, and is a little sweet. Has a light and watery mouth feel, and a light bitterness. A malty but careful pilsener.
