Grabbed a 4 pack of 50cl cans of this - was in the mood for a german pils and I realized I haven’t had this one since I gained an appreciation for the style (also haven’t rated it) - always on the lookout for another low-cost pils - anyway, this on has some similarities to Bitburger - moderate mineral in the nose and flavor, along with a moderate, clean malt sweetness (although it is mostly dry) - this one has a rather high hop bitterness for the style, which is fine at first, as it is enjoyable through the middle - however, the bitterness becomes a bit too strong in the finish and stick around too long on the palate, so it is not as clean as it should be - medium mouthfeel, with a firmness to it, quite a bit of mineral on the tail end - this one has a few drawbacks, but is still fairly solid - Bitburger will probably remain my go-to, but this will do in a pinch.
