Simple appearance. Light gold, nice soft white foam. The aroma is a bit nutty, yeasty, restrained. Round, soft, creamy sip. Typical Dortmund (although Duisburg) with a little more hops than Helles. Easy-drinking stuff that slides down easily.

0.5 can. Egyszerű kinézet. Világos arany, szép puha fehér hab. Illata picit tápos, élesztős, visszafogott. Kerek, puha, krémes kortyérzet. Tipikus dortmundi,(bár Duisburgi) kicsit több komlóval a helles-eknél. Könnyen lecsúszó konnyed ivós cucc.

500ml bottle: BB 26th Apr 2021. Poured into an old König Pilsener stemmed tulip glass (0.2 litre) at home on 27th Jan 2021. Looks like a 'real Pilsener'; clean and clear golden body and a fast fading white crown. Aroma is mini-grainy with a hop twist, the taste a hoppy, semi-bitter affair. Not too bad at all to be honest.

500 ml bottle. Clear light golden, foamy head. Grass, metallic hops, malty notes and hay. Metallic bitterness with a sweet malty hint. Medium bodied, oily watery texture, lively carbonated, bitter finish. Decent North German Macro Pils, really nothing to complain.

Aged sample Stable, lightly amberish coloured head oer faintly veiled copper beer. Biscuit, old malts, honeyish. Honeyish malts returning, with a nice, ever so slight acidic touch, mainly due to the invisible if quite present carbonation. Pure maltsugars reigning. Quite slick, light to medium bodied. Sweet for a Zwickl, the age not explaining everything. But not bad! Thanks to Stef!

In der Nase einigermaßen hopfig, im Antrunk erst süß, dann ganz schnell sehr sehr bitter, keinerlei Variation, eher Prinz peinlich als König.
