2021 bottling. Orange-amber with lace. Nose is honey, caramel, peaches, apricots, vanilla. Nicely complex. Woody and sweet, with toffee, coconut, and vanilla and stone fruit flavors. Silky, soft body. Very nice. Much better balanced than the young, un-wooded version.

750 bottle, mail order from the brewery. A couple years old. Nose is bourbon, musty oak, light balsamico, vanilla. Sweet vanilla flavor to start, balsamic vinegar, leather, oak. Dry, oaky finish. Soft, silky carbonation is nice. A bit too much oak, but still very nice.

Very smooth and can’t feel the booze at all. Lovely fruitiness I guess from the cognac. No burn. Great stuff.

Good stuff. Dank, fruity, can’t quite feel the booze which is a plus. Quite old fashioned but that is a plus point for an old fart like me.

Bottle picked up at Hopped Up. Pours near black with a small beige head, light lacing. Dark malts, raisins, woody, cognac, chocolate cherries. Smooth, sweet, no hot alcohol.

Bottle from Tanakaya. Pours a pitch black hue with a small white head. A huge vinous cognac nose. Rich, almost like drinking cognac, woody, vinous, sharp wine. Roasted base. No heat.
