Draught @ the brewpub. Aroma is mild with lemonade and hay. Flavour has somewhat intence citrus lemonade aroma and some cereal-like malt. Not that good, the lemonade notes are bitter in a harsh way.

Draught @ the brewpub, Unterperfuss. Aroma has buttery malt and hints of green apples. Flavour is slighly tart with malt, cereal, minerals and hints of green apples. Refreshing!

On tap at the brewpub. Trübes orange gelbes Bier mit einer fingerbreiten weißen schaumkrone. Geruch schwach hopfig, Getreide, süß malzig. Geschmack getreidig, leicht hopfig bitter, malzig, nichts besonderes.

Had this at Branger Brau, Brewpub, Unterperfuss, near Innsbruck 31.05.12 Pours orange/light brown, actually it is more orange than light brown a bit like an undiluted orange squash in colour but very murky with a large off-white head. ?3.20 for half a litre is excellent. Sweet in the mouth a little honeylike, soft carbonation, very gentle bitterness, actually the bitterness does build a little, it is a little more bitter than I initially assumed. There is also a decent fruity tanginess. There is actually no description of this beer anywhere in this bar but it is the only beer on offer and judging by what I read on what I believe to be Ron Pattisons excellent Innsbruck pub write up I would guess that this is the Marzen. Nice beer regardless. I was not 100% sure of the abv but I think it may of been 4.7% (sorry if I am wrong) A6 A3 T7 P4 Ov14 3.4
