Michels Coffee Stout, Flasche von REWE, Niederorschel. - Sehr dunkles Kastanienbraun, üppiger Schaum. - In der Nase warmes dunkles Malz mit leicht erdiger Torfnote, tiefen Röstaromen, Mokka und feiner Karamelsüße. - Antrunk weich und füllig dunkelmalzig mit Torf, fein erdig-würziger Hopfung und schöner Kaffeebittere. Feine Restsüße. Milder rezent, weich, leicht trocken. Im Abgang nachhallende Röstmalzbittere und feine hopfenwürzige Herbe, abgerundet mit einem Touch Orangenschale. - Sehr schmackhaftes, komplexes und doch rundes Stout mit schönem aber nicht übertriebenem Kaffeeflair. Bottle with many thanks to kappldav123! Pale hazy yellow, tall white head. Light and pleasant malty base with buttery hints, almost bohemian in style, with a bitter sweet and slightly fruity-spicy hoppy finish. Delicious.

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass with a huge head. Fine fresh hoppy aroma. Starts intense grasy-hoppy, flowery notes. Hints of lemon, some pine. Different herbs. Bitter background. Finish could be a bit more balanced. Not bad.

And again a 0,5 l bottle from kappldav123. Thanks a lot! Dark in the glass, red brown edges and a more than one finger fine foamy head. Intensive coffee smell, some choco in the background. Taste starts also with coffee with a little bit sourness. Think I have a pepper background. Too much coffee in my humble opinion. But not bad at all.

Thanks David. Smooth mild beginning. Slightly neutral grainy. Floral beginning, moderate bitter with a dry and slightly grainy finish. Refreshing mild with soft grain, hints of floralness. Sessionable.
