Fläschla: Deep golden, hazy, small ’n stable off-white head; moderate sweetish grainy nose, some herbal hops underneath; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied, a bit tart; lingering drier, but still sweetish-bitter caramelly and herbal finish. Quite good, but only mediocre by franconian standards…

33cl bottle (4.9 abv) from the brewpub. Pours almost clear golden colour with a huge most good lasting white head. Aroma of pale malt, grains and mild fruity hops. Taste of mild fruity bitter hops, earthy, pale malt, good one!

On tap at the brewpub. Leicht trübes orange goldenes Bier mit einer geringen weißen schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, viel Gewürznelke. Geschmack trocken fruchtig, hefig, schöne würzigkeit.

On tap at the brewpub. Klare dunkel rötlich braune Farbe, schöner beiger Schaum. Geruch kräftig hopfig, röstmalzig, bitter. Geschmack röstmalzig, erdig, mild hopfig bitter, floral hopfig, interessant.

Flasche (33 cl) von Hopfen & Malz, Berlin. - Helles Gelbbraun, trüb. - Duftet angenehm zitrusfruchtig-süßlich nach amerikanischem Aromahopfen, ein wenig Harz. - Im Antrunk aromatische, süßliche Zitrusfrucht, Orangenmarmelade, Harz und etwas Karamel. Ein wenig milder rezent als üblich, leicht „kreidiges“ Mundgefühl; sehr angenehm im Mund. Im Abgang nicht allzu kräftige Hopfenherbe. Langer bitterer Nachtrunk. - Amerikanische Hopfensorten sind hier geschickt und unaufdringlich in ein untergäriges Frankenlager eingebunden. Gelungen!

Aroma has sweetish malty tones and some sugar. Flavour has sugar and sweet malty tones. Also some raisins and vegetable tones. Way too sweet. And in sugary, not in malty way.
