Draft - Estery Belgian yeasts and some tart Berry notes. Cloudy reddish with a rich light pink head. Light tart Berry, kinda flat and a long finish. Tastes like flat once carbonated juice or pop. UPDATE - Much more fruit forward with the yeasts in check. Light sourness on the nose and juice like on the palate. Still not great, but better.

On nitro tap at 12 Kings, pours a cloudy pinkish ruby red with a small pink-tinted white head. Nose is quite restrained, with faint notes of cranberries and a touch of yeast. Flavour is fruitier, with the cranberries upfront, only mild Belgian yeast notes. Mouthfeel sure is strange with the nitro - not sure why you'd do this to a saison. Not terribly exciting or enjoyable, but it's drinkable. Not a fan.

2015.08.06, draught at The Burrard Public House, Port Moody, 5.9% ABV, 6-3-4-2-9=24
Cloudy blond color. Decent apricot aroma. But the beer is very weak, rather dry, no apricot flavor, instead plenty of vegetables off flavors. Not good.
2015-04-20, draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver, 5.2% ABV, 5-3-4-2-8=22
Cloudy blond color. The aroma gives a strong impression of sugar floss. The mouthfeel is dry, the flavor is simple, there are vegetables, light sourness from the fruit, sugar floss, and a mild metallic character.
Messy. Not good.

Draught at Darby’s Public House, Vancouver
Cloudy orangey color with frothy head. The aroma is a bit yeasty, but also fruity, light tropical. Smooth and undercarbonated mouthfeel, dryish, a bit too yeasty and metallic, covering malt and hop if any, very light fruit presence.
More Blonde Ale than Pale Ale, easy, not much pineapple (why not using a stronger fruit?), and it doesn’t perform well in the cask format.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver; 5.8% ABV
Dark blond color, hazy. The aroma reveals the usual flaws of American brewed Saisons: paper, vegetables, fermenting grass, yeast… Dry mouthfeel; the flavor profile goes with the aroma; vegetables and plastic, light chemicals presence, and a bit of chicory bitterness.
Rather unpleasant.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a hazy yellow with a small white head. Nose brings out bright Belgian yeast, some spiciness and orange peel. Flavour is much along the same lines, with spicy Belgian yeasty notes dominating upfront, with nice accents of orange peel underneath. A touch of residual sweetness on the end. Better than most American attempts at traditional saisons. Balanced and refreshing. Good.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a cloudy bright golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out a nice mix of Belgian yeast, candied sugar, and dry crackery caramel malt. Flavour isn't as complex, with Belgian yeast upfront, followed by resinous hops and dry biscuity malt. Somewhat muted flavours but they work well enough. A little boring.

Cloudy orange-golden color with persistent creamy head. Nice fruity aroma, although mild: oranges and a touch of peach. Dry mouthfeel, but smooth, a not weak; don’t like much the malt profile, it tends to be papery, and gets into some final astringency; lightly peppery, maybe this is the Belgian yeast; correct bitterness but the hops are not bright.
Nice beer, but it seems it didn’t achieve what it was looking for.
