“Rattenbräu Kellerbier“, vom Faß auf dem Berliner Bierfestival. - Braungold, trüb, sahniger Schaum. - In der Nase Hefe, Karamel, zitrusfruchtiger Hopfen, leichte säuerlich-ranzige Noten. - Antrunk weich brotig karamelmalzig mit deutlichen, deplazierten säuerlichen Zügen. Etwas derbe krautige Hopfenherbe. Mild rezent, hefig weich, vollmundig. Brotig-säuerlicher Abgang mit derber, leerer Bittere. - Mit einem echten Kellerbier hat das wenig Ähnlichkeit - schon mutig, so ein beeinträchtigtes Bier auf einem Bierfestival anzubieten ...

And again a 0,5 l bottle from kappldav123. Thanks a lot! Low but consistent gushing. Looks like dark unfiltered honey in the glass. Frothy pale beige head. Low sourish smell. Taste is dry grainy, sourish elements, getting more fruity in the second part. Strange for a Helles.

0,5 l bottle from kappldav123. Thanks a lot. Now called Schneider-Weizen. Pouring out murky golden with an huge white frothy head. Fruity sour smell. Taste is very dry, scratchy. Less fruity than expected. Toasted grain and caramell in the aftertaste. High carbonated. No easy drinkin´ summer stuff.

0,5 l bottle from kappldav123. Thanks a lot mate. Pours out in an murky flat orange with a frothy white one finger head. Sweet floral hop smell with some british hop influences. Taste has also more british parts at the start. Honey in the middle. Getting thinner to the end. Okay.

Many thanks to kappldav123 for sharing! Nice yeasty nose with lots of smooth mild yeast. The beer starts refreshing with a nice smooth dry bitterness. Easy to drink, the yeast is not as intense or deep as the nose predicts. Clove is there with herbs and a neutral bitterness in the end.

Had this at Bierbörse Leipzig May 2018. Beer in the glass deep black, small head. Intense malty aroma. Starts fine malty with light smokey notes, surpringly stouty. Light chocolate hints. Finish well balanced. Nice!

Bottle from Bierbörse Leipzig. Looks okay. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Mild malty fruity aroma. Starts dry malty, modest bitter, light salty hints. Not much fruity. Finish dry malty. Okay.

Bottle from Bierbörse Leipzig. Rattenbräu Schneider-Weizen. Looks a bit cheap. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Start dry-malty, not very yeasty, mild bitter background. Notes of bitter lemon. Dry malty finish. Unusual but interesting.
