Beer No. 22 on my tour through Austria, Germany and Denmark.
Draught at the brewpub. Muddy brown coloured, small off-white head, quite sugary nose. Light malty caramel taste with mild roasty notes. In comparison with other two Napoleon beers pretty tasteless.

Draught at the brewpub. Yellow/orange coloured, small white head that went away slowly, pleasant yeasty fruity nose. Mild fruity, yeasty and banana with notes of cloves in the finish. Again a bit watery but very pleasant and refreshing beer.

Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy yellow coloured, small white head, pretty neutral nose. Mild malty, lemony hoppy and light herbal with hint of spices in the finish. Pleasant but a bit watery.

Ein Pils, das laut Beschreibung der Bedienung „wie Kölsch schmeckt“. Bedingt würziger und sogar etwas fruchtiger Antrunk, der im Mittelteil kaum noch vorhanden ist und so ins Nichts übergeht. Sehr wenig herb, komplett wässrig ist das Bier noch nicht, da eine Restsüße besteht, die im Abgang konstant bleibt. Hier immerhin wieder etwas hopfig-herb. Aromenaromes, dafür süffiges Bier. Für den Zweck Sommerbier ok, ansonsten unnötig. 11/7/8/6//6

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is mild bubblegum and slight grassy. Bitter, fruity and light grassy. Ends dry and bitter. Crisp hoppy.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty and faint butterish. Mild butterish, toffee caramel and slight butterish. Lingering dark malty and roasted into the finish. Light bitterness coming through.

On tap at the brewpub. The beer in the glass looks great - dark, very zippy, nice head. Starts alcoholic-spicy, somehow confused, the finish is metallically and dry. Very unbalanced. Worse than I exspected!

Herb-muffig-getreidiger Antrunk, mild herb bleibend, leicht (passend) bitter. Sehr wenig würzig, hopfiger werdend. Im Abgang intensiver, etwas hopfiger und leicht malzig was sich gut einfügt. Nett. Test vom 11.10.2008, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 12,10,11,11,-,11 - 10,94

Kurz hefiger Antrunk, sofort schlägt eine deutliche Herbe zu. Stark CO2-haltig, etwas bitter-muffig werdend. Auch aufgrund der Bitterkeit ist das Bier eher unsüffig, zudem wenig spritzig. Die Hefigkeit ist nur hintergründig erkennbar. Test vom 11.10.2008, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 13,6,6,7,-,9 - 8,15
