Unser Spezial ist heute ein Urtyp, erklärte die Bedienung im Brauhaus Napoleon, Leipzig-Probstheida. - Kupferrot, klar. - In der Nase kernig toastiges Malz, Karamel, Nuß und nicht zu knappe hopfenwürzige Herbe. - Antrunk kernig gerstig toastmalzig mit röstigen Zügen und satter hopfenwürzig-orangenschaliger Herbe, die in einen langen, wuchtig bitteren Nachtrunk übergeht. Milder rezent, vollmundig, kaum süß. - Unerwartet gutes Festbier, sauber malzig, gut abgelagert und so kernig gehopft wie ein gutes fränkisches Kellerbier. Ausgezeichnet! Hazy yellow with large white head. Aroma had pale malt, floral hops, yeast and lemon. Over the palate came pale malt, floral and grassy hops, subtle lemon and biscuit. Medium plus bitterness and dry.

Hazy mahogany with a medium off white head. Light roasted malt in the aroma with subtle caramel notes. Over the palate came caramel, roasted malt and light nutty notes. Medium minus bitterness and somewhat dry.
