Description
Everything started in 1925 with our first cider mill. We opened in Lavandera, a small, countryside town just a few kilometers from Gijon. This is where it all began.

Nowadays, Lavandera is still home to the headquarters of Casa Trabanco cider house and where we work every day. It also serves as a meeting point for the many visitors and friends we welcome through our cider-tourism project.

Sampled @ Tinto Fino during NYC Cider Week. Very pale with good clarity. Flowery, soft apples, powdered nose. Tastes caramelized. Hard water, bitter & green, but not harsh. Good amount of carbonation. Seemed a bit watery though. A few bucks more then the Trablanco Cosecha, which I enjoyed much more.

Corked 750 from Harry & Davids in Medford, OR. Pours hazy gold with a few bubbles. Aroma is sweet/tart with ripe/cooked apple. It is extremely tart. After the tart there is strong mixed apple skins. If this were a beer, I think we could call it sour/wild. Pretty good drink.

700 ml bottle @ RBNAG-11. Pale, slightly hazy golden body almost without any head. Mild aroma of apple, feels quite pure in the nose. Rather straight forward mild apple flavor, some fruity acidity. Medium body. Hint of apple core in the aftertaste. Refreshing and nothing special.

Clear pale yellow body. Bit weak sourish aroma of apples. Heavily sweet, lightly sour flavour - very well balanced and quite complex. Reminds me of good moscato d’asti. Impressive.

Bottle @ home picked at Mile High Wine and Spirits and recommended by Andre. A touch hazy, lemonade yellow appearance with no head and little to no carbonation. White wine, dry, rich apple, somewhat bitter, a touch spicy aroma. Fairly easy drinking, sweet apple, dry, somewhat tangy, a touch tart, lightly vinous flavor with a dry finish. Pretty tasty cider.
