Bottle (2005 vintage!) courtesy of fiulijn whom I thank a lot :). After doing a huge job on Asturian cideries, I finally get to try an Asturian cider :). Yellow body bordering somewhere between hazy and murky. Nicely sweet and sourish corky appley aroma. Sweeter than I thought it would be. Sure, there is a relatively strong acidity and notes of glue (that are pleasant), but the underlying corky sweetness balances this out nicely. A lovely cider in my opinion.

Bottle. Pours with a mostly clear golden body without any noticeable bubbles. Tons of non compacted sediment in the bottle (like several other Spanish Sidres that I have had). Aroma is lemon, grass, rubber, unripe apples, light tartness, gatorade. Taste is tart, a little bit salty, some phenolics, funk, earth, horse, barnyard, lemon, unripe apple. Very phenolic finish. A bit medicinal. Feels very thing. No carbonation.
