Review based on the BJCP2008 guidelines (style 15A). Bottle 33 cl - Batch 1446. AROMA: mild citric aroma with a wheat background. faint sulphury notes. APPEARANCE: golden color and hazy. average white head with average retention. TASTE: mild citric flavour mixed with wheat notes and some faint solventy and sulphury flavours. low bitterness with a semi-sweet and wheat finish. PALATE: medium-low body with medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: a weizen that needs improvement at the fermentation level, mainly due to defect aromas and flavours that are present. OBSERVATIONS: re-rating with a new bottle supplied by the brewer.
