Bottle@SOPP Helsinki 2021. Ambery brown colour witha small off-white head. Aroma is raisins, dried fruit, mild sweet malts with some alcohol pushing through as well. Flavour is dried fruits, some sweet malts, raisins, plum and some alcohol sweetness. Sweet, but nice sipper.

Bottle (from Alko Web). Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is floral, liquorice, mild alcohol, some wood and a bit choclate syrupy tones. Flavour is toffee, some roast, dried fruity and mild chocolate syrupy tones with some alcohol to it as well. Plummy, almost soy like aftertaste.

Bottle@SOPP Helsinki 2021. Pitch black colour with a small beigeish brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, some coffee, liquorice mild smoked tones with some dried fruity elements as well. Flavour is liquorice, chocolate, dark fruits, plum and some mild coffee tones with roast and a bit of alcohol too. Alcohol will hopefully mellow out a bit with time...

Bottle (from K-Supermarket in Lahti). Slightly hazy golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is floral, some grassy, mild herbal and some toasted tones. Flavour is bready, grainy, grassy and floral tones with some slight yeasty elements as well.

Bottle. Deep golden colour with a small white foamy head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is grapefruits, grains and some mild herbal tones. Flavour is grapefruits, some mild grains, bready elements as well as some mild lemongrassy tones.

Draught@Teerenpeli Helsinki. Ambery golden colour with a small white foamy head. Aroma is apricot, some tart wood and mild sweet malts to it. Flavour is pretty much following the aroma, but also has a nice bitter spruce and resin kick.

(Bottle, 0.33 l, from Sale Vierumäki, 20241102) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, grain, honey and metal. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, metal, grain, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste had grass, metal and bitterness. Nice. I suspect this may be Onnenpekka with just a different name.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Near black, small beige head. Hoppy nose with pineapple, pine, tangerine and licorice. Licorice and asphalt under pineapple and tangerine. Long bitter finish. Interesting stuff.
