Kellariolut NO2 - Imperial Stout on sysimusta, tuhti ja täyteläinen todellinen panimomestarin taidonnäyte. NO2 - Imperial Stout on 10 maltaan täydellinen liitto ja Kellariolut-sarjan toinen tulokas. Keittoaika oluen valmistuksessa oli eeppiset 15h, jotta makumaailmasta saatiin syvä, makea ja moniulotteinen. Pitkän keittoajan lisäksi olut on pullokypsynyt vielä 6kk ennen myyntiin tuloa. Imperial Stout on väriltään sysimusta kuin antaen varoituksen tulevasta makunautinnosta. Tuoksussa paahteisuus, maltaan makeus ja kevyt alkoholisuus tulvivat lasista yli. Maku on erittäin pehmeä, siirappisen makeahko, kahvimaisen paahteinen. Jälkimakuna makea paahteisuus kääntyy hedelmäiseksi suklaakakuksi jatkaen ilotulitustaan suussa vielä pitkään.

330ml bottle, sold to me by djoeye. Deep ruby-black body, steady fawn-coloured head, spotty lacing. Well roasted chocolate aromas, mid-dry. Dark malt-forward taste, hints of grainy chocolate, dark bread, and ash. Roasted malt bitter finish, warming down the swallow. Pleasing sipper on a Saturday afternoon. (At home in Tromsø, 10.05.2025).

Almost black beer, a head is quite small and yellowish beige. Aroma has liquorice, sweetness of malts, light roastiness and dried fruits. Taste has maltyness, roastiness, coffee. Full bodied. Good beer, but not in the top .

Bottle@SOPP Helsinki 2021. Pitch black colour with a small beigeish brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, some coffee, liquorice mild smoked tones with some dried fruity elements as well. Flavour is liquorice, chocolate, dark fruits, plum and some mild coffee tones with roast and a bit of alcohol too. Alcohol will hopefully mellow out a bit with time...

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Black, small brown head. Aroma of licorice, tobacco and coffee. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Treacle, tobacco and leather. Warming mid bitter finish.

33 cl bottle @ Teerenpeli Tampere. Batch N953 131, BBE 12.12.2024 Aroma is sweetish and stuffy with peat, salty licorice and mild ashy tones. Flavour has salty licorice, peat, soy sauce. Also rubbery tones. Sweet malt in the finish. Quite evident Laphroiag tones here - even though the barrel is bourbon afaik.

Sample from the bottle at sopp 2021. Color is very dark brown with small slightly brownish head. Aromas and flavors: Dark chocolate, some coffee and roasted malts. Easy.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BB 09.12.2022, 20210730) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, dark chocolate and grass. Palate was full bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, dark chocolate, ash, metal and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt, ashy and bitter. A decent burnt brew with unpleasant notes of metal.
