Iso-Kallan Panimo was founded in 2013 in the heart of the Finnish Lake region, in Kuopio.

Our Brewery produces beers, long drinks and lemonades. We get Inspiration for our products from the huzzle and buzzle of the world as well as the laid-back attitude of the Savo region.

If you find yourself in Kuopio, come and visit our store & taproom. During the summer we also have a lovely terrace where you can enjoy a fresh pint in the sun.

Draught@SOPP Tampere 2019. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is ashes, toast, roast and some mild wooden and liquorice tones. Flavour is nutty, fruity, mild ashy, some chocolaty and liquorice tones.

Draught. Hazy amber colour, small white head. Aroma is caramel, some grass, herbs and mild floral notes. Flavour is floral, some and mild grassy tones. Mild fruity notes.

Bottled (from Prisma Vaasa). Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is strangely fruity, with some tartish wooden notes and some sweet malts. Flavour is sweet malts, some fruits, mild earth to it. Easygoing.

Draught@HBF2017. Golden colour, small white creamy head. Aroma is floral, some mild lemongrass, bread and floral notes. Flavour is grassy, earthy, some wooden and mild bready notes.

Bottled (From Alko). Hazy amber colour, with a mediumsized off-white head. Smoked wet wood, some bready and mild sweet toffeeish and ripe fruity notes in the aroma. Flavour is sweetish malts with some toasted and smoked notes and mild meatiness as well. Wellbalanced and pleasant.

Pours a light and clear yellow with basically no head. Aroma is smokey and malty, light acidity. Light body. Flavour is light smoked malts, light acidity, very drinkable for the style. Quite nice.

Maybe should be classed as a red IPA. Very malty, lots of caramel, light hops, herbal. Quite nice, drinkable, should be way hoppier.

0,33l bottle from Puijo tower, enjoyed @ Rantakylä. Pours clear brown with a low head. Aroma is sweet fruity malts. Flavor is sweet fruity malts with some hops. Decent.

0,33l bottle from Alko Graani, enjoyed @ Vitsiälä. Pours cloudy golden with a medium head. Aroma is slightly fruity and esthery malts. Flavor is sweet esthery malts with some alcohol and some hops. Good.
