Bottle: Golden, quickly collapsing white head; sweetish-grainy to strawy nose; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied for a beer of 6.0%, a bit sticky; sweetish-grainy finish with a very faint bitterness in the aftertaste. Yawn......

Bottle: Hazy, deep golden to light amber coloured, rather quickly vanishing off-white head, leaving a small stable foamy layer; yeasty and caramelly nose with subtle fruity traces; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied and at least soft; slightly increasing bitterness in the sweetish-yeasty finish. Neither bad nor really convincing....

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond and thick foamy head. Sweet pale malty aroma with a tinge of honey and slightly herbal notes in the background. Sweet flavour, medium to light bodied with a smooth carbonation. Pale and slightly strawy malt character with a herbal touch; sweet malt-accented and slightly herbal finish. Close to the Staudengold Original which I would prefer. 07.X.10

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a big foamy foamy white head. Slightly grainy malty nose with subtle fruity accents and a light touch of spicy herbal hops. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a well-matured carbonation. Aromatic and ripe malty base, almost a bit nutty and subtle fruity with herbal accents; medium-dry, sweet and slightly bitter finish with delicately herbal spice. A fine and rounded brew. 07.X.10

(bottle) Hazy, light-amber colour with a medium-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Malty and slightly fruity-yeasty aroma of apricots and notes of herbal hops. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a pleasantly soft carbonation. Aromatic malty base with an underlying fruitiness, accompanied by herbal accents; medium dry malty and slightly fruity finish with delicately herbal hoppy notes. A pleasantly authentic and rural beer. 06.X.10

(bottle, purchased at the brewery) Cloudy, light-amber colour with a big and steady, slightly off-white foamy head. Slightly yeasty, sourish fruity and wheaty aroma with a mildly clovy spicy touch. Slightly acidic flavour with a light malty sweetness, light bodied with a pleasantly calm carbonation. Slightly yeasty and moderately fruity wheat character with a tinge of cara-malt and rural spicy notes; quite dry, slightly sourish fruity and lasting finish. Close to its lighter brother. Both are pretty good, but I do not see the point in offering two lighter Weizen beers. 05.X.10

(bottle, purchased at the brewery) Cloudy, golden colour with a grey-ish and huge foamy head. Slightly yeasty, fruit-accented aroma with notes of apricots and banana, accompanied by a mildly wheat-character and phenolic spices when it warms. Slightly sweet flavour with a light tinge of acidity, light bodied but not watery, well-carbonated mouthfeel. Wheaty and fruity taste with light notes of cara-malt and a touch of barnyard; mildly sweet wheaty and fruity finish with even a lasting malty aftertaste. Slim but balanced and refreshing. 05.X.10

Bottled. Hazy yellow, creamy decent white head. Fruity banana nose. Light palate - quite light banana fruity brew. But for being only 4,0% it is acceptable.
