Huge thanks to quack-duck for that one. Bottle looks simple but okay. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts strong, malty, a bit alcoholic. Fine spicy notes. Sourish background. Finish still strong, more balanced than the beginning. Not bad!

bottle from Fruirouge Nuits-St-Georges. Hazy brown, small and fizzy beige head. Strong aroma of aniseed. Malty start, again with aniseed, some spicy herbal hops. Smooth and velvety palate. Very good, even in summer!

bottle from Fruirouge Nuits-St-Georges. Hazy golden colour, mid-sized off-white head. Fruity nose with a sourish touch. Malty with a pleasant sweetness and some spicy, peppery hops. The shy sourness in the far background adds a pleasant wild touch.
