[33cl can from Beer52 at 6.5% ABV.] A a glossy inky black pour with a fast fading beige head that laces the glass; aroma of toasted malts with a hint of pine resin; smooth and milky in the mouth with the roasted malts predominant; then a pleasantly bitter finish with the hops coming to the fore. A well made Black IPA.

330ml can from Beer52 at 6.5%. Pours black with well formed beige to tanned foam, . Aroma of almond, light roast, citrus, pine and hint of coffee. Taste has a more pronounced roast and coffee like malt with citrus pith and peel, medicinal bitterness and woodiness. Medium bodied, mild dryness, moderate carbonation whereas a softer version would have worked better. Overall though its good.

lattina 33 cl, schiuma nocciola fine evanescente, color tonaca di frate, al naso vino passito malto tostato spezie zucchero di canna caramello uvetta sotto spirito, in bocca malto tostato caramello prugna secca uvetta sotto spirito una punta di liquirizia, corpo medio, carbonazione moderata, watery, alcool un po' troppo spinto, dolce con amaro accentuato, manca un po' di struttura e di equilibrio. 330ml can from Beer52. Cloudy light gold with white decent sized foam but only mild retention. Aroma has a hint of lemon citrus with cereal and coriander - decent freshness. Taste is sadly a bit more flabby with wheat cereal, bread, lemon tangy sweetness and coriander but all tasting somewhat predictable and stale although not unpleasant at all. Body is fine and not overly light.

bottiglia 33 cl, schiuma color cappuccino media grana evanescente, colore nero, al naso è piacevole marshmallow cacao caffè caramello vaniglia Vov frutti di bosco leggero alcool, in bocca ancora marshmallow vaniglia frutta rossa cioccolato fondente Vov caramello caffè frutta secca lattica, corpo rotondo, alcool ben presente ma non disturba, carbonazione piatta, watery, dolce compensato da un amaro accentuato lungo nel finale. Can picked up from Craftbeer webshop Parchim and consumed at home Thursday 8th May 2025 after another day of going to/from the builders merchants, this time in Regen. We're having homemade Pastitsio tonight for tea and listening to Huw Stephens on 6Music it's Round Table tonight. Pours clear warm gold, with a fast disappearing white head. I'm beginning to think that a lot of this beer is the can design, interestingly it doesn't taste 8%, it's malty, there's a soft mouthfeel, but really not doing anything for me, not bad but also not great, I've had big macro strong lagers that have had more character.

On tap at Billie's. Pours clear copper with a white head. Tons of dusty grape and cognac on the nose. Flavour has a very boozy fermented grape character; wood character is fairly rough. Comes across as someone blended a sweet grape cider with cognac.
