Dark chestnut brown with moderate tan head. Chcocolate malt, ash, and hay aroma. Moderately sweet molasses, chocolate malt, and mildly bitter dry hay flavor. Nice body. Very nice.

I like this a lot better than I thought I would. The ginger is thankfully light, and the lavender isn’t out of place in a tripel really anyway, works quite well. Pours slightly hazy golden with decent head. Sweet floral finish. Some lemon. Tap at brewery.
