7 3 7 3 14 Bottle at Pelgrim. Very hazy orange with a white head. Aroma of grassy hops, green weeds, herbal hops notes and a touch of fruit. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. [18/06/2017]

"nieuw etiket", batch #680, wazig amber met enorme witte kraag(véél te véél), aroma van mout, graan, zoet, Belgische gist, sinaasappel, floraal. smaken van veel alcohol, gist, redelijk (té) zoet, sinaasappel, mout, graan, honing, matige body, zacht maar veel teveel co2.

33cl Bottle, thanks Christos! Black colour, beige-brown head. Aroma of sweet soy sauce, liquorice, treacle, dark chocolate, brown sugar, molasses, very sweet, just a hint of roast and mocha. Flavour is sweet, liquorice, soy sauce, molasses, light roast, dark chocolate, dark fruits, plums, bittersweet sugary finish. Full bodied. Very sweet, lacks roast. Really don’t understand the high marks for this series.

Bottle at Drie Dorstige Herten. Black pour. Aroma of chocolate, mild vanilla, coffee, booze and cream. Taste has thick chocolate, licorice, subtle earthy vanilla, booze, mocha and some red fruit. Nice boozy ris, but some more bourbon vanilla would make it even better.

zwart met een extreem volle bruine kraag met iets teveel koolzuur. aroma van een enorme donkere volle chocolade, geroosterde en gebrande mout, whisky. Smaken van geroosterde, gebrande mouten, zeer veel chocolade, cacao, vol, dik, whisky, jammer dat er wat teveel co2 in zit maar de smaken zijn gewoonweg fantastisch, drop, topbier --- Beer merged from original tick of Armada Springbank B.A. on 18 May 2018 at 10:56 - Score: 8

33cl Bottle. Black colour, brown head. Aroma is sweet, lots of whisky, wood, sludge, liquorice, some coffee, brown sugar, roasted malts. Flavour is quite sweet, brown sugar, whisky, not the peated Bunna unfortunately, some roast, sludge, liquorice, sweet boozy finish. Full bodied.

Sampled from tap at Leiden Winterbier Festival. Slightly unclear dark golden with a white head. Sweet malts, doughy young wort, pineapple juice, peach yoghurt, light dank weedy hops, soft sweet fudge base. Medium sweet and under medium bitter.
