Draught @ Villi wäinö. Poured deep amber color with a thin white head. Aroma has malts, fruits, mild berries. Flavor has some red berries, malts, hops and fruits. Ok drinkability.

(Bottle, 0.33 l, at Pikkulintu, 20170405) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had spiciness, citricness and herbalness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were liquorice, spiciness, lime, sweetness, orange peel, tartness and bitterness. Aftertaste was tart, sweet and bitter. A surprisingly nice blend of spices.

Mild smell of roasted malt. Very dark brown colour, massive light brown head. Aroma of ash, roasted malt. Very lively carbon. Bitter. Very light body, which is even lighter than what expected by the ABV.

Draught (backlog). Close to black colour, mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is ashes, some floral notes ,coffee, chocolate and some slight herbal ntoes. Flavour is mild liquorice, tobacco, some ashes, roasted malts and mild toffee notes to it. Nice somewhat sweetish ashy aftertaste.

Tap at Maltainen Metso. Dark ruby color, no head. Herbal, berryish, tartish nose. Medium-bodied. Tart and berryish flavour. Herbal, spicey. Sweetish. Not anything you want drink more than once.

(Keg at Ukkometso, 20170211) The beer poured deep amber and clear. Its head was small and white. Aroma had caramel, cinnamon and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, biscuits, nutmeg and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. A rather musty and spicy brew.

Bottled (from Prisma, Vaasa). Deep brown colour, huge off-white head, lots of foam when pouring, so pour gently. Aroma is mild lactic notes along with coffee, some roasted malts as well as some light spicing to it. Flavour is quite similar, a bit thin as for the mouthfeel, but then again nicely bodied for being only 4 % ABV. Great breakfast beer with eggs’n’bacon.
