Description
We're a Leeds based craft beer brand hell-bent on producing exhilarating and kick-ass beer!

We bring you craft beer with a nostalgic twist, born from influential culture of the 80's & 90's.

At the heart of Play Brew Co is an obsession for creating quality beers. That all started back in 2014, when our founder Phil embarked on a journey of home brewing after being inspired by the craft beer cropping up in Leeds.

2017: It’s been a long road but we are delighted to announce that Play Brew Co’s first trio of beers is hitting bars and stores in the North of England. The Arcade ‘86 Series is a collection of three recipes that pay homage to Phil’s favourite beers – tying his experience of home brewing and his on hand experience at brew labs together.

Can from CentrAle. Murky peach coloured body with a thin white head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of orange pith and bitter lemon. Flavour of lychee and grape. Medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. It’s a bit sharp but the classic NZ hop flavours are all there.

Keg at Tilt, Bingohame, 18/02/23. Black with a khaki head that retains well. Nose is chocolate, toffee, light roast, brown sugar dusting. Taste comprises light roast, chocolate, toffee, brown sugars, dark malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Simple stuff ... passable ... has that artificial smack about it that most PB seem to have.

Can. Just a very mild haze on this pinkish amber beer, small and patchy bubbly pale cream colour head. Smooth light palate, mildly dry, modest fine carbonation. Very sweet malts, a ton of sugary vanilla delivers the white chocolate vibe with aplomb. Candy strawberry - loads of, along with a splash of strawberry jam. Whisper of sweet marmalade. Light and semi dry finish. Sugary linger. Entertaining but bloody sweet.
