Bottle @ home. Murky yellow color, full sized foamy white to off-white head that lasts for a long time. Aroma is malts, somewhat hoppy but fairly low still imo. Taste malts, again somewhat hoppy with a light touch of orangepeel and citrus, light to moderate citrus bitter finish. Decent to medium body and carbonation. Ok beer, but bad as an IPA.

Sampler from tap at Martinus. Black with creamy tan head. Dark roasted malts, licorice, moderate smoke, bit sour or rotten wood. Moderate sweet and bitter with light sourness. Over medium body, soft carbonation. Another slick maltball but this one seems to be slightly infected. Still something nice in there though.

Sampler from tap at Martinus. Hazy pale golden with white head. Sweet malts, very malty, bready, banana, fudge. Quite sweet and light bitter. Medium body, very very malty. Creamy soft malt smoothie. Soft carbonation. Not very hoppy, wouldn’t have guessed this is supposed to be an IPA. More like imperial weizen or so.

Bottle at home. Hazy light amber with off white head. Tea, some caramel, light herbs, some cocoa, dried apricot, light lime, soft flowers, wet grass and paper. Under medium sweet and medium bitter. Under medium bodied with watery feel. Seems more like an English style beer, not really my thing. It’s not a bad beer, but it’s weirdly watery. I liked the other beers from Martinus a lot more.
