Huge thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass deep black, nice small head. Intense roasty malty aroma. Starts strong, wonderful stouty notes, wood, earth, liquorice. Mild sweetness in the background with some vanilla hints. Finish well balanced, warming malty, roasty, oily. Not too alcoholic. Really nice!

Very dark brown with thin head. Hmm, Weyermann smoked malts! This is not far off the Schlenkerla Doppelbock but this has a stronger roasted malt element and some sweet liquorice too. Very earthy. A tad thin otherwise excellent.

--Bottled, from Just In Beer, Groningen. -- Dark brown, mid sized beige head. Peaty caramel aroma. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Peaty smoke and treacle. Warming finish with mild bitterness.

Donkergeel bier met veel stevig schuim. Smaak is bitter hoppig en licht zoet met iets van hars, wat karamel en een wat zeepachtige bitterheid. Een wat bijzondere IPA maar desondanks ok.

0,33 l bottle from Wijnalda, Haren. Clear pale copper in the glass, one finger white head. Pale malty smell, floral and peach. Taste starts red malty, some citrus. Not bad for its kind.

0,33 l bottle. Cloudy dark golden in the glass, more than one finger white head. Floral hop, white wine and barrel wood on the nose. Taste starts winery sweet fruity, increasing dry, barrel wood. Later some malt in the background. Nice stuff!
