Copper colour, small white head. Caramalt, harsh hoppyness in the nose. Light to medium-bodied. Caramalt sweetness, earthy hops, bitter finish. Tad sweet. Not really a Helles, just by name.
A bit more oaky and leathery woody than 2, with some roastiness and molasses. Heavy but pretty good
Surprisingly different compared to 1. More fruity and less smoky, still quite roasty and heavy.
Dry, roasty and heavy with some rye, syrup, earthiness, leathery smokiness, licorice, molasses and sweetness. Heavy.

Sample, thanks oh6gdx! Hazy copper colour, small pink head. Citric nose with some blueberries. Tart with light body and clean mouthfeel. Citric and lactic with blueberries and grass. Low bitterness.

330ml bottle, sold to me by djoeye. Rings of lace down the glassware from a slowly declining tan head, almost black body. Smoothly roasted grainy chocolate malts on the nose, appealing. Solid malt-driven flavours of dark chocolate, anise, earth and wood. Semi-sweet, roasted malty finish, long-lived and warming down the swallow. Well bodied. Decent slow sipper on a lazy Sunday afternoon. (Tromsø, 18.05.2025).
