Bottle at home in Hackney - no idea where I got it. Vintage around 2013-2014. Pours deep brown with a small, foamy beige head. Shows some age but in a tasteful way. Moderately sweet, with notes of rocky road, dried berries, fudge, cocoa, mellow roast, a little milky coffee, earth. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly warming finish, more rocky road fudge, hints of tobacco. Overall, pretty nice.

Sampled from bottle at home. Dry malts, some herbal, floral and light fruity hop aromas, dry grainy with some sweet citrus and soft floral herbal notes. Moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body and very lively fizzy carbonation. --- Beer merged from original tick of Nieuwe Tijden Glutenfree on 29 Nov 2019 at 23:07 - Score: 6

Bottle bought from Bedford Beer Festival last month. It's a fine-looking specimen, tranlucent light brown with a thin beige/khaki head. Raisin, malt, some cinnamon, a metallic note. Quite sweet with a light note of bitterness, with leafy hops rounding out the finish. Some cola nut in the aftertaste. Well-carbonated but not over the top. Decent stuff, inconsequential but pleasant.

Pours a mostly clear deep brown colour and a light beige head with a one bubble layer retention. Aroma': malt, light sweet, roasted, hops. Retronasal it's sweetish, hoppy, light sourish, drop. Flavour islight swet, moderate bitter, drop. Light bodied. Finish is shortly bitter, a bit dry. Not bad.
