About
Oprichter en één van de brouwmeesters van Huisbrouwerij Klein Duimpje is Erik Bouman. Hij brouwt al sinds 1996 zijn eigen bieren en in 1997 startte hij met zijn Huisbrouwerij Klein Duimpje. In 2011 wist Bouman het oude pand van een bollenkweker in Hillegom te verwerven. In de zomer van 2012 werd het proeflokaal geopend en de brouwerij in gebruik genomen. In 2013 werd de naam van de brouwerij gewijzigd van Huisbrouwerij Klein Duimpje naar Brouwerij Klein Duimpje.

Bottle at Anna’s Beer Bar. Hazy amber with small off white head. Lots of sweet caramel, dried red fruits, light apple, soft cocoa, soft herbs, light bread, light dust and herbs. Medium sweet and bitter. Bit over medium bodied.

Bottle shared thanks to Deanso. Clear golden with white head. Clear golden, at least until I poured the yeast in. Nice white head. Cloves, lemon, plastic, some dough, diesel, pils malts. Over medium sour lemon and under medium sweet. Some light plastic bitterness. Medium bodied. The sourness is not the worst, the plastic notes are quite bad.

Bottle shared thanks to Deanso. Clear golden with a massive white head. Aroma of yeast, citrus, herbs, wheat and sharp lemons. Flavour is light to moderate sweet fairly lemony acidic. Light medium bodied with high carbonation.

zwart met beperkte beige kraag. aroma van mout, melkchocolade, geroosterd, donker fruit. Smaken zijn matig zoet, matig bitter, hop, mout, gebrand en geroosterd, donker fruit (braam), zacht, melkchocolade, lactose, matige body, lage co2.

Bottle from the brewery. Poured a murky medium brown with a big fizzy light tan head. The aroma is sweet dry roasty malt light fake sugar. The flavour is moderate sweet with a light sweet watery fizzy malt floral palate. Medium bodied with lively carbonation.

Bottle from the brewery. Poured a hazy light amber with a frothy white head. Poured a hazy light amber with a thin broken white head and a few bubbles. The aroma is dry mineral floral alcohol. The flavour is moderate alcoholic bitter with a dry mineral light fruit, alcohol bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
