Can. Dark brown, small tan head, roasted coffee/chocolate malt nose. The sweetness is surprisingly more than the nose belies, pretty big malty mouthfeel. A hint of soy, chocolate malt, big flavor with a lot of power and smooth hops behind it.

Crowler from BD Inverurie. It pours murky dirty blonde with a small white head. The aroma is ripe and juicy, plenty to tropical fruits, um bungo, guava, papaya, mango, quite green, weedy, spicy, dank and a nip of pine. The taste is initially dry, grainy, floury bread, green bitterness, sharpness, some spice, weedy, dank, touch of creaminess, pithy, zesty, butter citrus rind, some tropical fruit vibes, papaya and guava with a drying, green finish. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. Like the aroma, but the taste is a but muddled. Ok.

Crowler from BD Inverurie. It pours crystal clear lager yellow with a thick, majestic white head. The aroma is fresh and fragrant, grassy, herbal, straw, hay, grain, crackery malt and some distant orange marmalade. The taste is crisp, firmly dry, snappy, pleasing bitterness, grassy, lightly herbal, straw, pithy citrus accents, some spice, grain, cracker and cereal with a bone dry finish. Average body and moderate carbonation. Flavorful, rounded and satisfying. A well crafted lager.

OK, so what ever, its another stupid ass IPA? Ok, they all taste the same, extremely bitter straight up ass bitter. Here, I get to rate another one ? Let's do it. OK, so it pours cloudy amber? Guess what? It's not really milk shake, false advertising, fake news. Should I shake it before I open it? NO WAY! It's smell is just a little berry, but mostly stupid ass volatile perfumery IPA, at least there is no diesel or BO going on here. Taste is slight berry with bitter IPA. Taste buds, not sure of the intent of this; is it to be bitter or is it to be fruity? Can't mix bitter with fruity unless its really rude unripe rotten green grapefruit rinds totally mixed wit a little bit of blue berry? Not sure. Not quite the experience it was promising, unless, that is, you like IPA?

From a can #12 on the advent calendar. Pour is big and black. Nose is a sweet milk stout with volatile effects. First taste commences as a thick rich sweeter almost cloying kind of brew, typical of these silly pastry stouts. The pastry thing has really ruined stouts AFAIC! Yea, a thicker more viscous flavored boozy version of an imperial milk stout, There, you have it. Middle is tolerable and the finish is simply nasty. Is stout doomed to become a mass of pastry beers like ale was bastardized like IPA influences. These pastry things can at times just be simply rude.
