Can from EeBria. Near black with small beige head which recedes too quickly. Big bold coffee bean aroma with berry notes and hints of liquorice. Taste of coffee, roast, liquorice, some chocolate, berries, quite bitter in the finish; very nice. Slick mouthfeel but only just medium boded despite an addition of oats. Standard rather than fine carbonation. Its a tasty stout but it does have flaws which is a shame as there is potential for a 4+ rated beer here.

Can from EeBria. Pours near black, small slightly fizzy beige to tanned head. Aroma of lactose, strawberries, light roast, dried fruits and spice. Spice comes through more in the taste with dried fruits, malts, lactose, jam. Taste is a little thin but stops it being a bit cloying with the spices. As imperial stouts go its a bit average.

440ml can – Pours black with an average sized foamy tan head that slowly settled. The aroma is fruity and spicy, sultanas, raisins, cinnamon, nutmeg and malty. A sweet fruity taste, plum, sultana, raisin, red berry, sweet malt and Christmas spice flavours with a light warming bitter finish. It’s different but I like it.

Rocky tan head left a froth on a dark brown body. As the label: coconut & vanilla aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with a nicely hopped back. Malt, nutty, coconut & biscuit tastes with a tangy hoppy finish. Straightforward - Refreshing - Solid.
