Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Hazy brown with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and smoked meat. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet finish. 290613

Bottle. Dark amber/brown with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, yeast, caramel and smoke. Flavour is malt, caramel, smoke, meat, ash, medium sweet, little burned plastic and medium bitter.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are smoke, caramel, nuts, malt and hops.

No head typical to weizen even though I tried to form one. Just a small lace. Aroma is somewhat tart with citrus, some grassy tones, yeasty notes and hints of hay. Flat palate, almost no carbonation at all. Flavour is tart and feels contaminated. It has citrus, lactic acid, some grassy notes and hints of herbs. Actually this is quite close to the Koulu house flavour. Not very good.

50 cl can. Clear deep golden in color, medium sized white head. Buttery nose with sweetish malt and grass. Flavor has grass, malt, butter. Dry, short hoppy finish.

Aroma has grassy hops, some grainy malt and distant buttery notes. Flavour has grass, grainy malt, some corn and butter. Finishes with some metallic notes and more grass. Mostly clean pale lager with no surprises. Goes fine with herring and varhaisperunat.

Bottled, thanks oh6gdx! Hazy golden small head. Fruity nose with evident cranberry. Sweetish with light body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Ripe fruits, cranberry juice and honey. Low bitterness. Strange idea, but well executed.

SOPP 2013, Turku. A hazy, orangebrown beer with a weak and blond head. Aroma of toffee and nuts, some fruits, strawberries and red berries. Taste is quite dry, nuts, wood, some pine, medium bitterness. The aftertaste is quite dry, wooden and piney. Medium bodied, balanced carbonation, fresh. Quite nice, brittish IPA.

Draught @ SOPP Turku’13
Aroma is quite light with grain, hints of hay, caramel and resin. Flavour is sweet with strong gluey notes, caramel, some toffee and malty notes. Palate is rather low on CO2. Not very good.

Tap at Bruuveri, Helsinki. (Sold as Marsalkka Pils so probably same beer). Colour is hazy orange with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Grain, sweetness and malts. Nothing special.
