About
Saimaa Brewing Company on yksi Suomen vanhimmista yhä toiminnassa olevista pienpanimoista. Juuremme ulottuvat vuoteen 1995, jolloin ravintoloitsija Pertti Oksa aloitti oluenpanon Mikkelissä 200 litran ravintolapanimossa. Nykyinen, vuonna 2013 käynnistynyt panimomme mahdollistaa maanlaajuisen toiminnan ja kasvuvaraa riittää vielä tulevaisuuteenkin. Tällä hetkellä olemme tuotantomääriltämme Suomen kolmanneksi suurin pienpanimo.

Bottle 33 cl. Black with a minimal light brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee and some smoke sense. Light bittersweet with a coffee and roasted end.

50cl can. Poured slightly unclear golden color with a thick white head. Aroma is grassy hops, Saaz really upfront. Saimaa house flavors there but Saaz covers them almost completely. Grassy, hay malty flavors, light harshness in finish. Nice Saaz hoppyness again. Not very balanced, but much better than their previous cans in this series.

A golden beer, a head is quite big and blond. Aroma has maltyness, grass, hoppyness. Taste has maltyness, nicely strong bitterness stays in the mouth, but it's not aromatic. Strong bodied for this style, balanced carbonation. Not aromatic, harsh, strongly hopped.

Smell of malt, sugar. Muddy brown colour, beige head. Aroma of malt, yeast, earth, sugar, cough mixture. Bitter, also sweet. Lively carbon.

Can (thanks marduk). Pours orange. Aroma is sweet, malt, caramel, vegetables. Flavor is sweet and bitter, malt, caramel, slight vegetables. Overall: drinkable.
