750ml wired cork bottle from Oxney Estate. Opened with a loud pop. Sparkling, pale yellow colour, short-lived fizzy white foam head and aroma of fruity fleshy apple, sulphur hint. Taste is sweetish, tart, tangy, apple, apple flesh, notes of wood, funk, floral, citrus, white wine, some acidity with light drying tannin. Light to medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry tangy & citric finish. Nicely drinkable.
