Brouwerij De School was established in 2016 by lifelong friends Leon and Bryan. The two have been friends since elementary school. The two friends share a passion for everything that is taste related and are dedicated to brewing delicious beers of the highest standerd. The two stand for creativity, innovation and quality.

Clear golden colour, white head. Malty aroma, wheat, orange, banana, spices. Sweet malty flavour, orange. Quite spicy finish, banana. Decent.

As Elsa's Bokbier from tap in Elsa's Café, Amsterdam (16/10/2018), served in snifter. Dark brown colour, small frothy beige head, fairly lasting, fair lacing. Aroma roasted malts, dark fruits, caramel, light cocoa. Taste light heavy sweet and medium bitter, malty, fruit toffee, toffee. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, nice.

7 3 7 3 15 Draft at Foeders, Amsterdam. Hazy amber with a big white head. Aroma of citrus, tropical fruits light herbal hops and light caramel malt. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and above moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

7 3 8 3 15 Bottle at Gekke Geit, Den Haag. Dark brown with a ring tan head. Aroma of roast, chocolate, caramel, vanilla, biscuit and coffee. Flavour is above moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Tiramisu Stout, schenkt zwart met lichte kraag. aroma ...shit ik wordt verkouden...krijg niet al te veel binnen iig wat chocolade, smaken erg dun en zelfs waterig, geroosterd, gebrand, chocolade, koffie, vanille, poederachtig, cacao, zwak tot matige body, haal er iig geen tiramisu uit..

Hazy deep amber colour, small fizzy off-white head, disappears quickly, minimal lacing. Aroma toasted malts, red fruits, candy, floral hops. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, fruity. Thin sweetbitter aftertaste, malty notes, bit astringent, medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation; a failed brew.

Hazy orange golden colour, white head. Fruity aroma, candy, tropical fruits. Light bitter, quite sweet. Fruity finish, onion, citra. Nice!

Draft @ Wormer Winterbeerfest '17. Hazy golden to amber color. Dense off white head with good retention. Aroma's of tropical fruit, caramel. Retronasal it's fruit, a bit fruity sour, sweetish, bitterish, herbal. Flavor is moderate bitter with light fruity sourness. Medium bodied. Light dry finish, moderate bitter.

Bottle 330ml. @ [ Hotel Room tasting ] - Room #183, Woerden, Netherlands. [ As De Twee Knaapjes 't Kofschip Barrel-aged Russian Imperial Stout ].Unclear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, roasted, burnt, dark fruit, sod, raisin, plum. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, dark malt, sod, roasted, dark fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20170922] 7-4-7-3-14
