Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Dark brown-black colour, no head and aroma of dark malt, chocolate, with strawberry & blueberry. Taste is malty, caramel, strawberry & blueberry notes, with some biscuit, zingy berry fruit and bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, biscuity tart berry fruity bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Can from Westhill Service Station. It pours darkest brown to black with a light brown head. The aroma is sweet and intoxicating, huge almond character, biscotti, liquid chocolate, vanilla, toasted marshmallow, nougat, mocha coffee, rocky road and fudge brownie. The taste is initially smooth, rich roasted malt, slick, thick, toothy, chewy, sweet, plenty of almond once again, chocolate, bitter, cacao nibs, chocolate brown, coffee grounds, burnt toast, vanilla, rocky road, slightly charred, touch of umami and some boozey warmth. Fulsome body and moderate carbonation. Almond took me by suprise a bit... Not exactly balanced.

Ayrshire Coastal Walking Mini Break Beer#32. First sour of this trip, a hazy orange coloured, juice appearance ale. The fruit itself is potent and best in aroma, mildly soured in taste, becoming sweetish in aftertaste.

Ayrshire Coastal Walking Mini Break Beer#3. First craft beer in Paisley on a travel day. Golden with a carbonation. Crisp easy, and with light citrus, which is most stated in aroma where it gets very fruity.

10/1/2026. Can at ITFC Beer share. Bought direct from the brewery. Good pour. Aroma is salted caramel, honeycomb, crunchie bar, roasted malts, liquorice, tar. Bitter toffee brittle, salted caramel taste. Liquorice comes through more. Quite full bodied, smooth, low carbonation. Rather good.
