Description
Two Towns Down is a brewing project founded by Sandy McKelvie.

Sandy started his brewing career in the Isle of Man before returning to his native Scotland to complete the Brewing and Distilling Degree at Heriot Watt University. In his third year he was also the in-house brewer at the Hanging Bat which included collabs with the likes of Six Degrees North.

Once the four year course was complete he took a brewing position at Fallen Brewing Co. before moving on to head up recipe development and barrel aging at Black Isle Brewing Co. Having recently relocated to 71 Brewing in Dundee, Sandy has taken the opportunity to launch his own project, showcasing innovative and cutting edge beers while still drawing inspiration from classic brewing philosophies.

Sampled at Borefts Pre-Tasting 2019. Hazy yellow color, average sized white head. Aroma is malty, grassy hops. Flavor again is grassy hoppy with a nice bitterness. Decent body and carbonation. Alright.

Sampled at Borefts Pre-Tasting 2019. Hazy yellow color, medium sized white head. Aroma is malts, nicely hoppy, tropical fruity. Flavor is similar, malts, hops, tropical fruit hoppy. Nice, softly bitter, but also some sweetness but it doesn't bother me though. Nice.

Can. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is herbal hops, a bit perfumed, biscuits. Taste is the same. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Ok.

Can. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is sweaty, dank hops, some citrusy stuff. Taste is dank hops, biscuits, grassy, some sweat. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Nice!
