Description
In 2017, Eric Krill-Chae registered BrewBoyz. In October 2017, the 5 hl brewing installation was delivered and in November 2017, a test brewing could take place.

As of January 1, 2019, BrewBoyz will continue as Brouwerij Utrecht. Initially, Brouwerij Utrecht was intended to be a brewery rental company for batches of 500 liters - 1000 liters (or more), but soon its own beers followed under the name Brouwerij Utrecht.

In 2020, the main name will be Brouwerij Nederland. Beers are marketed under various brewery names, such as Brouwerij Utrecht, Brouwerij Amsterdam, Brouwerij Rotterdam...

Our mission: Brewing accessible craft beer, both in price and taste, so that many people can simply enjoy it, at any time, in moderation...

330ml bottle. Cloudy, orangey golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Slightly grainy and fruity aroma, hints of yellow apple, cooked yellow apple, cereals. Taste is minimally sweet fruity, slightly grainy, hints of yellow appe, cereals, cautious bitter hoppy overtones. Drinkable, but a bit monotonous.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Mitra Händelstraat Utrecht. Clear golden with a white head. Citrus aroma with some light pinapple. Sweet taste with a malty backbone. Light bitter finish. Not hoppy enough and too malty to make it an IPA but as a lightly hopped golden ale it is satisfying enough.

Bottle. This beer is named after a famous building in Utrecht, housing the office of the Dutch Railway manager ProRail, which I visit professionally quite frequently. Nice. Color: Black, light brown head. Aroma: Rosted malt, coffee, mocha. Taste: Very smooth mouthfeel. Medium to over medium body, below average carbonation. Black coffee, mocha, roasted malt. Moderate to medium sweet and bitter. Lacking some complexity and body, but overall a pretty good beer.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ van Rooij, Culemborg. Black with a very thin beige head. Sweet coffee and chocolate aroma. Bittersweet taste with some bitterness in the quickly gone finish. Some off-flavour is present as well but I can't pinpoint it exactly; some cabbage or at least cooked vegetables. It's not really disturbing but it distracts a bit from the roastiness of the beer. Body is quite thin as well. Not the RIS for me.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ van Rooij Culemborg. Light hazy light golden with a white head. Grainy aroma with some yeasty fruitiness. Taste is sweet with a sweet finish. Is this a brut or a Belgian blonde? I am of the opinion it's the latter. Decent but a bit boring and too sweet.

Oeps, dacht dat het 6% was. Vrijwel koolzuurloos.
