Description
Fresh, Fun, Approachable, Hop-Forward
Hey there! We're Offshoot Beer Co. from your friends at The Bruery. Offshoot is the Bruers' playground, where we dive deep into the world of hop-forward beers. While we could definitely geek out on the intricacies of making these beers, we'd rather just open a cold one and...Relax.
What is Offshoot?
Years ago our founder Patrick Rue made a promise to NEVER brew an IPA. As time went on, our adventurous Bruers KNEW they could make world class hop-forward beers, so Offshoot was born as an offshoot of The Bruery, all while keeping Patrick's promise that The Bruery would NEVER make an IPA.
Where The Bruers Relax
Offshoot is what The Bruers drink when they're off the clock. Nothing better to help you Relax, Escape, Retreat, or Coast.

[On tap at the Bruery Tasting Room, Placentia, CA.] A hazy straw coloured pour with a ring of white head; aroma of citrus and apricot; smooth “milkshake” body with an apricot taste to start, then switching to pear; and with a slight sourness to finish. Really tasty.

Draft. An unclear golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of hops, citrus fruits, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops, citrus fruits, spices, and malt, leading to a bitter finish.

Can, from Beer Run. Pours extremely hazy bright orange with large foamy light beige head, light citrus aroma, low carbonation, medium bitter orange-pineapple taste with alcohol undertones, smooth body, long finish. A bit boozy, but still fine.

Tap at St Mary’s Axe, Craft co. 1st October 19. £15 a pint. It pours a thick soupy opaque yellow. Aroma is loads of hops, fruity, tropical. Taste is full as is the mouth feel, which is unusual. Tropical fruit, juicy, some dryness and a tingle of bitterness, very good.
