75cl bottle as ’welcome drink’ at Johan Spa Hotell, Kuressaare. Pours slightly hazy deep golden to amber with a white head. Fruity and fairly yeasty aroma with Belgian notes and hints of citrus and caramel. Medium to moderate sweet with hints of acidity, fairly mild fruity flavours and a light bitterness. Quite tasty and easy to drink. Decent stuff!

Pours copper, almost clear, just a bit of haziness. Decent tan head that stays. Looks more like a british style IPA, dark coloured. Aroma is loaded with caramel, some honey there and sweet biscuits. Not really reminiscent of any IPA I know. Taste has some more caramel with honey sweetness - but mixed with messy bitterness and green apple fruitiness. Drinkable but something wrong with this.

33 cl bottle @ home, BBE 09.08.2015
Aroma is sweet and malty with lots of cereal and some biscuits. Also hay and hints of fruits in the background. Feels musty. Flavour has gooseberry bush and ripe apricot. Also some minerals. Finishes with menthol, oat and cereal. Clean, malty and very cereal-like.

Muddis version
Aroma has toffee and grain. It is sweet and slightly musty. Foamy and creamy palate. Flavour has grainy malt, oaty tones and minerals. Also toffee. Feels "greasy."

33cl bottle from Drink Shop, Tallinn. Pours slightly hazy dark amber with a fairly modest head. Moderate fruity and fairly malty aroma with citrus, caramel, herbs and hints of pine and grass. Medium sweet with a bit unbalanced flavours and a rather harsh bitterness. Fairly drinkable, but not convincing.

Bottle (brewed at raasiku) , BB 09.08.2015. Pours clear amber with beige head. The head stays for a moment. Aroma is sweet, caramel, grass, malt. Flavor is sweet and slightly bitter, grass, caramel. Body is thin. Overall: drinkable. Rating 5:3:5:3:11=2.7 Bottle, bb 01.12.16 (brewed at thei own brewery). Still pours more amber than golden. Aroma is sweet, caramel candy, malt, some fruits. Flavor follows the nose. Body feels bit too thin. Finish has some bitter hops. Palate feels more live then in Raasiku version. Overall: well, I like the new version more, but it’s still not a golden ale in my book.

50cl on tap at Hopner, Tallinn. Deep golden to amber, with a decent, off-white head. Somewhat fruity and mild malty aroma with slightly grassy notes and hints of caramel. Medium sweet with flavour of ripe fruits, caramel and grass, hints of sourness and a light bitterness. On the strange side, but drinkable. Hmmm. --- Beer aliased from original tick of Noa 1 Golden Ale on 14 Feb 2016 at 14:25 - Score: 6
