Bottle from North Shore Liquor Shop, Vancouver
Cloudy golden color. It tastes and smells a bit like old bag of grains, it has some resiny hops.
Not too good, sadly typical in BC.

Hazy light amber. Thin head. This has an earthy, citrusy nose, a touch on the stale side. There is a light biscuity malt character, with a touch of stale, cheesy C hop. That cheese just gets strong as the beer warms. Cheshire? I don’t know. I actually like Cheshire.

650mL bottle, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out light pine, citrus and biscuity malt -- seems off. Flavour is fairly astringency, with light pine and citrusy, with dry biscuity malt. Not much flavour from the hops, just astringency. Not an overly pleasant beer.

Draft - Nice grapefruit hops. Clear gold with a rich white head. Nice grapefruit and sweet citrus hops with a light bitter finish. Not bad.

clear amber color. Big grapefruity nose with solid caramel malt. Big hoppy presence but backbone lacks a bit. But grapefruty finish. Pretty decent little IPA.

Not much head on this, and just a typical yellow body with plenty of carbonation. Very faint aroma of sweetness, hard to pin down, but really had to stick my nose in it to get anything. Flavour is crisp lager with good balanced malt notes and a hint of hops.... or that other plant. Good for drinking on the lakeside.

650mL bottle, pours a deep dark orange amber with a small beige head. Nose is very English hop and malt heavy, with an over-malted body. Flavour brings out notes of caramel malt, English hops, and a little syrup. Too malty for my taste, but still quite hoppy, though restrained. Decent, but not overly thrilling.

Bottle from Legacy Liquor, Vancouver; lot 4579 bb 10/16/14
Hazy dark amber color with copper red hue; medium sized compact head. The aroma is mildly fruity, malty and nutty. Lean body, with just a light residual sweetness; some caramel and malt flavor, candi sugar, a candyish touch; correct bitterness level, but the hop qualities (resins and fruits) are very timid.
Pleasant but easy drink; could also be considered an American Strong Ale since the malt tend to prevail over the hops.
