Very dark brown. Aroma is sweet but has and old slightly woody scent. Flavour is sweet, malty and boozy. Feels strong and going in the direction of a Rochefort. Best effort so far from Wilderen.

Tap at the Brouwcafe, Scheveningen. Poured a clear dark brown with a thin broken light tan head. The aroma is yeast and red berry fruit. The flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter with a rich sweet malt yeast fruit palate and a short bitter sweet finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A nice rich beer. Lots of flavour and thankfully the sweetness is kept in check.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein leicht trübes orangegoldenes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, malzig süß, leicht würzig. Geschmack leicht hefig, fruchtig malzig, Gewürze, blumig.

330ml bottle. Clear, orangey, deep golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, white head. Sweetish, fruity aroma, notes of mirabelle and the like. Taste is dry, slightly yeasty, minimally fruity. Mediocre.
